OTHELLO, WA – According to KIRO 7, two people were hurt in a head-on hit-and-run collision on Washington 17 near Othello Sunday morning.
A 19-year-old driver strayed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with another vehicle around 5 a.m.
Following the collision, the 19-year-old man fled the scene on foot. Troopers found him. He was charged with felony hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.
Two people in the car were injured. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
Crews shut down the road to process the scene. It was reopened around six hours later.
