TACOMA, WA – According to KOMO, a driver hit a telephone on the 2300 block of South Cedar Street Friday morning.
A person driving an SUV hit the telephone around 1:01 a.m.
Emergency crews extricated the driver from the SUV and transported them to the hospital.
The wreck cut off power to a nearby nursing home. First responders were on their way to transport 26 patients to a hospital when the power was restored.
