FAIRWOOD, WA – A man has been sentenced for a deadly crash that claimed the lives of four people near Southeast 192nd Street and 140th Avenue Southeast on March 19, 2024, according to KING.
Chase Jones, 19, was speeding at around 112 mph when he ran a red light and crashed into a minivan driven by Andrea Hudson, 38.
Hudson was carpooling with five children in her minivan when the crash occurred.
Hudson and three children were killed in the crash. Two other children were hurt in the collision.
Jones pleaded guilty to four counts of vehicular homicide and two counts of vehicular assault earlier this month. He was sentenced to 210 months in prison for vehicular homicide and another 84 months for vehicular assault. Those sentences run concurrently.
