LAKEWOOD, WA – According to WSDOT Tacoma, first responders were called to the scene of an accident on Interstate 5 near Thorne Lane Friday afternoon.
On the I-5 SB collector-distributor just north of Thorne Ln (MP 124) there is a collision blocking the right lane. The State Patrol has arrived on the scene.

Troopers were dispatched to the scene around 12:13 p.m.
The cause of the collision is under investigation.
